God has blessed many of us far beyond those in other parts of the world, yet there are still some that find it challenging, if not impossible at certain times to have the clothes they need. Ontario Free’s Clothes Closet allows individuals and families to come by and “shop” for what they need for the whole family.
Please note change to our 2017 monthly schedule:
The Clothes Closet is open 2nd and 3rd week of the month each Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm on the following dates:
June 13, 15, 20, 22 July 11, 13, 18, 20 August 15, 17, 22, 24 September 12, 14, 19, 21
October 10, 12, 17, 19 November 14, 16, 21 December 12, 14, 19, 21
Donations are now being accepted on days the Clothes Closet is open.
All clothing is given freely to those in need. Clothing is available in many sizes and styles for infants, children, youth, men, and women.
We use a punch-card system and we have lots of wonderful volunteers to serve you when you arrive.
NO furniture or large household items are accepted. Small household items ARE accepted such as toasters, dishes, children’s items, etc. Many in and around our community are served through this ministry of sharing and caring.
We have served fire victims, homeless persons, Katrina victims, Mexico Ministry, Shelby Flood victims, Romania Missions through another church, Oakdale Christian School in Kentucky, and a host of other organizations. We believe in partnering with other organizations to assist people in need.
Our desire is simple – to express unconditional love in tangible ways, as Christ does. We are His hands and His feet.
